Carlsbad CA—The City of Carlsbad is pleased to share details about Carlsbad Reads Together 2019, a program that brings community members together and engages them in discussion about the same selection of books at the same time. Participation in the program is free.
At a Glance
- Carlsbad Reads Together 2019 celebrates the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s classic Frankenstein by reading The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White, a reimagining of the classic story.
- Throughout March 2019, we’ll host book discussions, movies, Exploration HUB classes and more.
- Two Meet the Author events with Kiersten White are scheduled. Admission is free. Seating is limited and first come, first served.
