CARLSBAD – SCORE San Diego, a chapter of a national association comprised of active and retires businessmen and women that offers free mentoring and low-cost workshops to small businesses, start-up companies and entrepreneurs, offers two seminars at the end of the month. “Financial Statements: What They Mean and How to Use Them” is set for Jan. 28, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Early registration is $39, and $49 after Jan. 26. “Financing Your Business” is set for Jan. 30, 9 a.m. to noon. Early registration $49, and $59 after Jan. 28.
