CARLSBAD — Carlsbad hosts its sixth annual Carlsbad Beach Fest June 15 between Pine Avenue and Tamarack State Beach. More than 12,000 people are expected to participate in myriad activities and a beach cleanup. Some of the free activities include a children’s one-mile fun run, live music on multiple stages, kite flying, sand sculpting and more. In the evening, Dini’s restaurant located at 3290 Carlsbad Blvd. will host an after-party. Admission to the after-party is free. There will be a cash bar and food menu. Look for the Beach Fest flag on the patio. More information online: www.carlsbadbeachfest.com.
