Local restaurants take the spotlight May 17 for the third annual Taste of Cardiff, presented by Cardiff 101 Main Street.
Cardiff 101 Main Street invites residents to enjoy an evening of strolling through town while savoring the best of Cardiff’s cuisine, according to an organization announcement. Nineteen restaurants will whip up various dishes while competing for diners’ votes to win the 2012 Taste of Cardiff Golden Fork Award. Visitors can cast votes by stopping by the Cardiff 101 Main Street office during the event.
The restaurants will begin offering food samples at 5 p.m. and will serve those with tickets until 8 p.m., or until they run out of food. The three-hour window allows visitors to take time as they walk throughout downtown Cardiff and provides opportunities to stop along the way to enjoy music or to have a drink, according to Cardiff 101 Main Street.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 the day of event, and are available online at www.tasteofcardiff.com or at the Cardiff 101 office located at 124 Aberdeen Drive in Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
