ENCINITAS — Dr. Merle Robboy will speak to the San Diego County Cymbidium Society at 7 p.m. March 20 in the Ecke Building at the San Diego Botanic Garden, 230 Quail Gardens Drive. His subject is “Orchids that grow outdoors in the Rio, Petropolis, and Sao Paulo regions of Brazil,” featuring a discussion about what constitutes a species orchid.
