The Encinitas State of the City Address returns this year after a hiatus, with Mayor Teresa Barth focusing on the theme of “Five Unique Communities.”
The public is invited to attend the event, which is set to run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 5 at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center.
The Encinitas Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association, Cardiff 101 Main Street Association and Leucadia 101 Main Street Association are hosting the event, according to a chamber announcement.
“Each of the five communities contributes something different and unique to make this one of the best places to live, work and play,” Barth said in the announcement, referring to the city’s communities of Encinitas, New Encinitas, Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Leucadia and Olivenhain. “I invite everyone to join me as we take a quick look at what’s happening now and what we are looking forward to in the future.”
Tickets are $20 per person. Local restaurants, wineries and breweries will provide food and beverages from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
