A public workshop about plans for the expansion of Interstate 5 and its related projects is set for 6-8 p.m. April 4 at the Carlsbad Senior Center Auditorium, 799 Pine Ave. in Carlsbad.
Caltrans and the San Diego Association of Governments have released a draft plan designed to guide the development of highway, transit, rail and environmental projects proposed for the North Coast Corridor, which spans 27 miles from La Jolla to Oceanside.
