ENCINITAS – The Encinitas Sheriff’s Station invites the community to take part in a local event in conjunction with the annual National Night Out Against Crime, noon-4 p.m. on Aug. 6. The event will be held in the Target parking lot, 1010 North El Camino Real. Participants can meet deputies who patrol neighborhoods, learn about Sheriff’s Department services and get crime-prevention and safety tips. More information: 760-966-3588.
