ENCINITAS – The Encinitas Historical Society hosts an open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Old Schoolhouse, 390 West F St. The event marks the 130th anniversary of the school building. The Old Schoolhouse is open Friday and Saturday afternoons, except public holidays, from 1 to 4 p.m. Entry is free but donations are welcome. More information: 760-942-9066.
