ENCINITAS – Boy Scout Troop 2000 presents the 14th annual Haunted Hotel in Olivenhain from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, 20, 25 and 26. The Halloween-season takes place in the two-story, 128-year-old Hotel Germania, built by Olivenhain’s original German settlers in 1885. More than 2,000 guest are expected to attend the two-weekend event. The hotel is located at the site of the historic Olivenhain Meeting Hall, at the corner of Rancho Santa Fe Road and Seventh Street. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Olivenhain Town Council’s ongoing restoration of the hotel. More information online: www.bsatroop2000.com.
