ENCINITAS — The city of Encinitas hosts a Pet Health Expo on June 13 at Encinitas Community Park, 425 Santa Fe Drive. The facility, which opened earlier this year, features a 2-acre dog park. Activities will include demonstrations and prizes, along with more than 20 informational booths, vendors and animal rescue organizations. The county Department of Animal Services will offer several onsite services for residents of Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Carlsbad, Santee, San Diego and unincorporated areas of the county.
