ENCINITAS — The Encinitas Historical Society and 1883 Schoolhouse host a book signing 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 17, with author Rachel Brupbacher for her new book, “Miles Minor Kellogg and the Encinitas Boathouses.” The historical will also hold its Arts & Crafts Fest the same day from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Published by Arcadia Publishing, Brupbacher’s book chronicles the 1929 creation of the two historic Encinitas homes and their architect and builder, Miles Kellogg.
