ENCINITAS — Residents and visitors can explore downtown on an automobile-free South Coast Highway 101 when the annual Cyclovia Encinitas returns Sunday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to open shops and restaurants along the route, from D Street to J Street, there will be a bicycle safety rodeo, bike skills course, booths and music. Organizers encourage the wearing of masks. AMR Ambulance is hosting a COVID-19 vaccine and booster walk-up clinic providing Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
