ENCINITAS: Olivenhain fire safety meetings in June and July

ENCINITAS — The Encinitas Fire Department and Fitch & Associates present Olivenhain Evacuation Community Meetings in late June and early July.

The meetings take place at the Olivenhain Meeting Hall at 423 Rancho Santa Fe Road in Encinitas on these dates:

Monday, June 20: 6-8 p.m.

Tuesday, June 21: 6-8 p.m.

Saturday, July 9: 10 a.m.-noon.

The meetings will include an overview of the Olivenhain Evacuation Plan and topics such as alerts and notifications, the differences between evacuation warnings and orders, preparing an evacuation “go bag,” return after evacuation and defensible space around properties.
