Two teens injured, another arrested in Encinitas stabbing, authorities report

Two teenagers were injured, one in critical but stable condition, and a third arrested after an altercation Saturday, Oct. 29, outside a residence on Crest Drive in Encinitas, authorities reported.

The incident occurred at about 10 p.m. at a house party that spilled onto the street in the 1600 block of Crest Drive, according to a San Diego County Sheriff’s Department report. At least one of the three teenagers involved in the incident reportedly pulled out a knife, leading to the stabbing of the other two.

A 15-year-old was arrested in connection with the stabbing, the Sheriff’s Department reported. Two 17-year-olds were injured in the altercation.

Authorities stated that one of the victims was in critical but stable condition with lacerations to their abdomen and a broken finger. The other victim suffered a non-life-threatening cut to a hand.

No additional information was provided in the Sheriff’s Department report.
