ENCINITAS — Encinitas Ballet presents “The Nutcracker” for local families on Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive. Encinitas Ballet Academy offers dance instruction to children of all ages with the goal of increasing the development of children’s coordination, technique, focus, dedication, rhythm, musicality, stretching and other aspects of performance.
