Young e-bike riders will be under a kind of community watch in San Marcos after the City Council voted unanimously Tuesday, Oct. 28, to put a pilot safety program in place built on state legislation unique to San Diego County.

Interfaith Community Services launches fund to offset federal cuts

Encinitas sign over 101 could get upgrade

A downtown Encinitas classic might soon be losing its neon. The gateway sign spanning Coast Highway 101, a fixture in town going back to 2001 and a reproduction of a 1920s-era version, would be updated with LED lighting if the City Council approves a contract for the work Oct. 15.
