ENCINITAS — Cardiff 101 Main Street invites the community to gather on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the 18th Annual Kringle Mingle, a holiday tradition that brings festive cheer to the heart of Cardiff-by-the-Sea.
The free family-friendly celebration transforms Aberdeen Drive into a holiday marketplace featuring local artisans, festive activities and entertainment. Visitors cam stroll down the center of Aberdeen Drive, where they’ll find gifts made by local artists — an opportunity for anyone looking to begin their holiday shopping while supporting small businesses.
Families can enjoy a free photo with Santa, courtesy of Camera Camper, and warm up with complimentary hot cocoa and seasonal treats. Throughout the day, children and families can participate in a variety of free creative holiday activities, including face painting by Elizabeth Photography, letters to Santa, holiday origami, rock painting, holiday coloring pages and live music by Bucket Ruckus. Visitors can also bring a toy to contribute to the Toys for Tots collection sponsored by the Marines of Camp Pendleton.
