ENCINITAS — The Encinitas Historical Society’s last educational walking tour of 2025 takes place Saturday, Dec. 2o, starting 10 a.m. at the 1883 One-Room Schoolhouse.
The tour will concentrate on the north end of the historic Coast Highway 101. In January, the tour will cover the south end of the Coast Highway 101. The alternating of the route ensures that the tour can cover the distance in a slower, leisurely and more personal fashion.
A donation of $10 per person is suggested. Children and dogs are free. The nonprofit organization accepts cash, checks, and credit or debit cards.
