Oceanside CA— The Taste of Oceanside will have an easier, quicker way to enjoy a variety of different foods and drinks by adding the Taste Trolley service for “foodie loving” attendees. The 2nd Annual Taste of Oceanside, presented by Mossy Nissan, will occur on Saturday, September 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with more than 25 restaurants, breweries and wineries offering delectable samples of their food and beverages. Live entertainment will also be enjoyed throughout the venue, provided by the Red Fox Tails, and Celeste Barbier Wells.

Last year was the first Taste of Oceanside, which was a sold-out event success. “Over 750 people came to celebrate favorite and new emerging downtown Oceanside restaurants located within a 10 block area of our city,” commented Rick Wright, Executive Director of MainStreet Oceanside. “Many attendees asked us to include a transportation system to be added so that they could get to their next great sip or food stop quicker. We listened and this year “Taste Trolleys” are there for the attendees. The Taste Trolleys will be making a continuous loop throughout the downtown Oceanside area where all the stops are located. This will make it convenient for the attendees to step on and step off to their next culinary discovery.

One thousand Taste of Oceanside commemorative event forks have been ordered and will be handed out to each attendee from event sponsor Green Oceanside. The uniquely labeled Taste of Oceanside Fork actually serves a big purpose at this and last year’s event. They eliminate over 15,000 plastic utensils from being added to our local landfill at every Taste of Oceanside event!
There are a limited number of tickets available. Food tasting only tickets are $25, Food and beverage tasting tickets are $35. If there are any remaining tickets, add $5.00 on the day of event. Tickets will also be available the Sunset Market starting Thursday September 3rd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
