DIY succulents, paint classes bring holiday cheer to outside patio

San Diego CA—  When you mix arts and crafts with wine, you are sure to get a masterpiece.
On Sunday, December 4, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m., The Wine Pub will host its hands-on Winter WINEderland event for all local art and wine lovers. Participants can enjoy a glass of wine and express creativity on The Wine Pub’s beautiful outdoor patio filled with holiday vibes.
Merrymakers will choose between a painting class led by ArtBeat San Diego and a succulent box designing class led by Sweet DIYGs. The painting class will feature step-by-step instruction on painting “San Diego Christmas,” complete with a palm tree adorned with Christmas lights and a beach featuring a sand-made snowman. The succulent class will show attendees how to design a custom decorative box filled with drought-tolerant plants.
“Believe it: wine and art make the perfect combination,” says Sandy Hanshaw, owner of The Wine Pub. “The two provide a mental escape, allowing you to shut off your mind and enjoy what you’re working on – from intricate artwork to simple succulent potting.”
