San Diego’s premier culinary event now happening through April 29
San Diego CA— SeaWorld guests are hungry for more and their culinary wishes are coming true: San Diego’s premier food, beer and wine event, Seven Seas Food Festival, will serve up extra helpings of international flavors two additional weekends (April 21–22 and 28–29) at SeaWorld San Diego.
For the fourth straight year, the SeaWorld Seven Seas Food Festival satisfies the most sophisticated taste buds with California-inspired, tapas-sized flavors that allow food connoisseurs to taste life to the fullest. Park guests feast their eyes, ears and taste buds on more than 55 food samples, 70 brews, a dozen wines and a boatload of sweet-tune performances by renowned musicians pulled straight from San Diego’s music scene. Seven Seas continues now through Sunday (April 1) and on April 7–8, 14–15, 21–22 and 28–29.
“Here at SeaWorld, we provide a variety of fresh and bold menu items to our guests every day,” said SeaWorld’s executive chef Axel Dirolf. “Our Seven Seas Food Festival allows us to elevate our culinary offerings to an even higher level, with exquisite international tapas-sized flavors from around the world.” All new to the festival are 14 Daring Flavors for adventurous foodies to indulge. SeaWorld acclaimed chef Dirolf and his team of culinary experts put their creative cooking juices to the test and developed aromatic offerings that can only be experienced at SeaWorld.
Embarking on a global gastronomic cruise without leaving SeaWorld, guests savor palate-pleasing flavors from France, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean to Latin America, Polynesia and Asia. The journey to every culinary destination, featuring specially designed architectural facades, will immediately immerse guests into each region’s unique cultural as well as culinary landscape.
Throughout the run of Seven Seas, three of San Diego’s top craft breweries will be featured each day. The breweries will share their history and recommend beer/food pairings. San Diego County’s original and longest surviving brewery, Karl Strauss Brewing Company, will join a star-studded lineup of local craft brewers that continue to gain national and international praise for their award-winning beers. Also new to Seven Seas, the Fall Brewing Company, and the award-winning Eppig Brewing will join returning Stone Brewing, Green Flash Brewing Co., Mike Hess Brewing, Alpine Beer Company, Groundswell Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits Co., and Coronado Brewing Company during the Festival’s run.
Cool surf sounds will put guests in the spirit of Southern California at the SoCal Flavors Stage area, while reverberations of the cabaret will waft from the French Flavors Stage. A trip to the Polynesia Flavors Stage will electrify with high-energy hula and haka acts that will have guests aloha dancing, while fire dancers sizzle out the evening with blazing performances.

Wine Offerings: Wine lovers won’t want to miss learning about their favorite varietals from the experts at the SoCal Wine, the French Wine Boutique and the Seven Seas Wine Imports. Guests will be able to uncork questions, learn just what tannins are and decide which vintage best suits their taste buds. Visitors can also take the flavors home with a purchase of their favorite bottle at any of the festival’s wine locations.
Musical Offerings: At SeaWorld’s SoCal Flavors the SoCal Flavors Stage brims with Southern California entertainment featuring local bands. The sweet melodies of the classic continental café will ring out from the French Flavors Stage, located at French Flavors. The Polynesian Flavors Stage will vibrate with festive drumbeats as performers celebrate Pacific-Islander heritage. In Latin American Flavors guests can enjoy the sound of authentic Latin Music and in Caribbean Flavors the sounds of live steel drums will send all their worries away (Latin and Caribbean music takes place through April 15 only; SoCal, Polynesian and French Flavors Stages continue through April 29).
