Pala CA— Pala Casino Spa & Resort is excited to announce Thanksgiving Dining specials at Choices, The Oak Room, Bar Meets Grill, Pala Café, and Luis Rey’s Sports Bar. Each restaurant will feature special Thanksgiving menus on November 28, 2019 in addition to regular menus. Thanksgiving is time of traditions, filled with family gatherings, football, and of course a grandiose lunch or dinner. If you’re in the mood to let someone else do the cooking and the clean-up this Thanksgiving, Pala Casino has you covered with plenty of options for the holiday meal.
CHOICES: Diners can pick from a variety of traditional Thanksgiving fare and sides, as well as other international options. Featured entree items will include carver maple turkey, braised dark meat turkey, ham, roasted beef, bone-in pork loin, and rope sausage and mustard pot. Popular sides include whipped potatoes, acorn squash with brown sugar, candied yams, braised dark meat cranberry candy, green beans and mushroom volute and giblet gravy. Some of the non-traditional fare will include seafood risotto, octopus salad, almond crusted salmon and ceviche. Dessert options include pumpkin pie, hand-scooped ice cream, cookies and pastries. $46 per person; free for children under 3. 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
THE OAK ROOM: Start with a choice of Waldorf Salad or Roasted Beet and Celery Root Salad with Humboldt Fog goat cheese, followed by a choice of seared Day Boat Scallop or smoked Wild Boar tenderloin in Cumberland Sauce. Entrees will include turkey with pan gravy and ham with pineapple glaze, or a salmon filet and lobster cake. For dessert, enjoy a pumpkin soufflé with cream sherry plumped raisins and slated pecan caramel sauce. $75 per person. 5 – 10 p.m.
BAR MEETS GRILL: The Thanksgiving menu will include a starter of limestone lettuce, pomegranate jewels, grapefruit, and candied pecans, followed by roast turkey, giblet gravy and traditional stuffing timbale served with butter whipped potato, green beans, cranberry relish. For dessert, enjoy pumpkin pie served with cream sherry whipped cream, pumpkin seed and Craisin brittle. $35 per person. 5 – 11 p.m.
PALA CAFÉ: Start with soup or salad followed by choice of roasted turkey and gravy or prime rib. Side selections will include mashed or sweet potatoes, apple and sage stuffing and cranberry sauce. Pumpkin, pecan or apple pie is what’s for dessert. $32 per person, open 24 hours.
LUIS REY’S SPORTS BAR: The sports bar will feature a Turkey Grinder sandwich at Luis Rey’s that will include hand carved turkey breast, traditional stuffing and cranberry relish, served on a soft Hoagie roll. $15.95 each. Guests can also enjoy watching the football games on multiple screens, including Luis Rey’s new 16’ state-of-the-art, high definition LED jumbotron. Open 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
