What can three presidents agree upon? Lunch from Urban Plates
Washington DC— A lunch fit for three presidents: the team from the chef-driven, fast casual restaurant brand offering healthy, made-from-scratch meals at affordable prices is honored to share that Presidents and First Ladies Obama, Bush, and Clinton enjoyed an Urban Plates lunch on Inauguration Day, ahead of the service at Arlington Cemetery.
On behalf of the presidents that ate lunch, Urban Plates will donate 129 meals to frontline healthcare workers: 42 for President Clinton, 43 for President Bush, and 44 for President Obama through their Nourishing Heroes program.
“Our mission is to make craveable, wholesome, and clean food accessible to all,” says Urban Plates Co-Founder and CEO Saad Nadhir. “We are proud to have delivered on that promise to three former presidents, first ladies, their supporting staff, and a group of Arlington Cemetery groundskeepers and workers on Inauguration Day.”
Urban Plates is honored to have been chosen to serve, and we believe that delicious, affordable food made with quality ingredients is something that everyone should have access to – and that’s something we can all agree on.
