The North Coast Current brings back two popular story series with its latest update.

Starting April 20, the Institutions series highlights longtime local businesses and other establishments. The series returns with a story about the impending closure of Rancho Park Pharmacy, a sign of the tough economic climate communities have faced over the past few years. In the coming week, the Current reintroduces Real Beans, a series highlighting local independent coffee shops. Keep an eye out for the first installment about Cafe Ipe, also known as “Coffee Coffee,” in Leucadia.
