Oceanside CA— The Oceanside “A” team, owned and operated by Jeffrey Stein and Jobs for Autism are the new exciting American Basketball Association (ABA) team in town.
Home games are played at Mira Costa College. Local business owners have the opportunity to promote (sponsor) their business at the games while supporting Jobs For Autism and the Armed forces.
The “A” in “A” team stands for Autism, Asperger’s and the Armed forces. By supporting the team you are creating opportunities and awareness for those on the Autism Spectrum along with those in the military.
No longer will you have to travel to Los Angeles or downtown San Diego to watch a professional sporting event, it is right here in beautiful Oceanside.
North Coast Dental Care, the offices of Dr. Kathy Soleimani is one of the first sponsors to support the team. Bargain Outlet Market and Federal Heath Sign Company are also joining in with donations and future sponsorship of the team. The Oceanside “A” team has already made a name within the area as well as the ABA as they have won two of their four first games.
The games have been a thrilling display of high-level sportsmanship and talent. Basketball camps will follow in the off-season, taught by our Professional Basketball players. We hope to draw attention to Oceanside in more ways than one, providing professional sports in the area, supporting great causes while encouraging people to also patronize the local pubs, restaurants and breweries in the area before and after the games. This is a win-win for all of Oceanside and hopefully we will encourage all local business to get involved.
