Oceanside CA— Tri-City Inline Hockey League (TCIHL), a non-profit organization established over 20 years ago for the development of youth inline roller hockey in North County San Diego, will hold two free Roller Hockey Clinics for kids between the ages of 5-14. The clinics will run from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturdays, February 14 and 21, 2015, at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park’s roller hockey rink located 4300 Mesa Drive in Oceanside.
Check-in begins at 10:00 am, rink activities will take place from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm for beginner players, and from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm for experienced players, both time slots comprised of youth ages 5 through 14. All kids and all their siblings are welcome – refreshing shaved ice will be served at this event. The clinic program, consisting of free skating lessons, fun games, and drills, will coincide with optional in-person registration for TCIHL’s Spring-2015 Season and TCIHL Gear Drive at the same time. The public is asked to please bring any old or used inline hockey gear that they have outgrown or no longer need and donate it to TCIHL. During these 3 events, first time skaters will also be able to borrow protective gear and equipment at the site for use on a first-come-first-served basis, including brand-new helmets and hockey sticks generously provided by HockeyTron.com.

About Tri-City Inline Hockey League
TCIHL was the first sanctioned inline league in California by USA Hockey. Its co-ed recreational program is open to new and experienced players aged starting from 5 years old. The league currently offers two seasons per year (Mar-June & Sept-Dec) with clinics, camps, tournaments, and pick-up play between seasons.
