Competition to stream Live on OsideNews.com
Oceanside CA— All the biggest names in women’s surfing will be on hand for ASA’s Supergirl Pro Surf competition as it returns to Oceanside July 24-26.
OsideNews has partnered with ASA to provide live streaming coverage, on OsideNews.com, of the Supergirl competition with surfers including defending champion Sage Erickson, previous winners Malia Manuel and Coco Ho along with Alana Blanchard, Lakey Peterson, Courtney Conlogue, and more.
Not only will this years event be the largest female surfing competition in World Surf League (formerly ASP) history, but it will also serve as the lone women’s WSL qualifying event scheduled in the United States for the 2015 season and plays a critical role for surfers looking to solidify their position on the 2016 WSL Women’s World Championship Tour.
In addition to the competition, the event offers tons of fun entertainment for all ages including live music, a Food Truck experience, Film Fest, half-pipe skateboarding exhibitions from X Games pros, fashion, autograph signings, give-aways, clinics, beer garden, and much, much more.
Friday, July 24 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Saturday, July 25 (8 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Sunday, July 26 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
Supergirl recently signed a multi-year contract with the City of Oceanside, making Oceanside the proud home of this event.
