Carlsbad CA— Billed as the “Worlds Fastest 5K” the Carlsbad 5000, a Rock ‘n’ Roll Signature event, takes place along the coast this weekend, April 2-3.
More than 40,000 runners and walkers will take to the streets on Sunday for the 5K and all day 20k.
The Elite race includes runners from as far away as Africa including, Wilson Too, Debeli Gezmu and defending champion, Lawi Lalang. From Australia; two-time Olympian, Collis Birmingham. Great Britain; Charlie Hulson and Luke Caldwell and the Netherlands; Tijs Groen and Roy Hoornweg.
