In a semi final contest held at Madison High School field, the “miracle” Pirates of Oceanside have advanced to their second CIF Division I Final under head football coach Dave Rodriguez. Jakob Harris’s touchdown passes of 57 and 49 yards to Rich Jaime and one touchdown pass of 10 yards to Kamron Beachum plus Kavika Tua 2 touchdown runs of 97 yard run and 15 yards defeated the Warhawks of Madison High School by a 45-21 score. Their last appearance was in 2015 when they took on rival El Camino at Southwestern College.
Oceanside will take on the Lincoln Hornets in a Division I Final game next Saturday at 7:00 pm at Southwestern College.
In Vista, El Camino High School(7-6) upset the Panthers(9-3) 35-21 to advance to the CIF Division II Final. Since being shut out at Mission Hills 10-0 on October 25, the Wildcats have found their offense scoring 28, 42, 42, and 35 points in the last four games and will meet top ranked and undefeated Knights of Bishop’s High School on November 29 in the final.
Tonight, the Carlsbad Lancers(10-1) will meet the Helix Highlanders(10-1) in the Open Division Championship game at Southwestern College, 7:00pm
