The 2022 Miss Oceanside Scholarship Pageant was held June 4 at the Star Theater, sponsored by the Oceanside Sea Lions, which has been sponsoring the event since 1981.

The winners of the pageant are:

Miss Teen Oceanside: Senna Zimmerman;

Teen Princesses: Lily Teta, Gabriella Kacanowski, and Sabrina Zary;

Miss Oceanside: Rebeca Casanova;

Miss Princesses are: Andrea Barba, Emily Dikitanan and Arlette Martinez.

The Oceanside Sea Lions are part of Lions International, with more than 1.4 million members worldwide.

Proceeds from the pageant go to scholarships for the winners and proceeds from the People’s Choice Award will go to the American Diabetes Association.

The winners become goodwill ambassadors for the city of Oceanside, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and the Oceanside Sea Lions and do community service work throughout the year.
