Oceanside CA- The Oceanside Public Library is celebrating mothers with its first Community Baby Shower and Resource Fair on Tuesday, May 6, 2014. The event, being held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms, will connect pregnant women, new parents and parents of preschool children with maternal and child health services and resources, and engage attendees in fun activities and crafts. In addition, there will be free cake and prize drawings.
The Community Baby Shower and Resource Fair will provide women with resources on stages of pregnancy; importance of good fitness and nutrition for mothers and babies; infant and toddler development, early literacy, financial stability, and referrals to resources.
