Oceanside CA– Registration is now open for the 2015 Tri-City Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball.
Scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15 at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, the black tie affair will feature an upscale dinner, music and dancing with a live band, a live auction and opportunity drawing with prizes ranging from sports packages to five-star getaways, and of course, lots of doing good. This will be a particularly special Diamond Ball as the Foundation is celebrating its 50th year and they plan on breaking fundraising records — this year’s goal is $500,000 to benefit life-saving and life-improving services and equipment at Tri-City Medical Center. It also falls on National Philanthropy Day. In addition to individual tickets; a range of sponsorships, as well as all levels of auction and opportunity drawing donations; make it easy for businesses or individuals to get involved and give back.
The event will be emceed by Billy Ray Smith and Kimberly Hunt, former Charger player and “The Scott & BR Show” co-host and KGTV news anchor (and husband and wife). As is tradition, Diamond Ball will also play host to the announcement of the annual Legacy Award, which is going to Bob and Sandee Carter. The Carters are an integral part of the North County philanthropic community and have generously donated their time and financial support to improving their community through Tri-City Medical Center. Sandee is also a regular Chair of TCHF events, such as Fashion That Heals. “In the past half-decade, there has never been a family or corporation who has made more of an impact to Tri-City Medical Center as (the Carters),” says TCHF Exec. Director Glen Newhart.
