Oceanside CA— Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 annual Miss Oceanside and Miss Teen Oceanside Scholarship Pageant, which is sponsored by the Oceanside Sea Lions.  Girls ages 13-17, living in Oceanside, are eligible for the Miss Teen Oceanside Pageant, and ages 17 (if a senior) – 24 are eligible for the Miss Oceanside pageant.
The winners of the pageant become goodwill ambassadors for the City of Oceanside, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and the Oceanside Sea Lions, doing community service throughout Oceanside and the county.
The reigning Miss Oceanside is Victoria Troupe, and Miss Teen Oceanside is Madison George.
The annual pageant will be held on April 25th at the James Truax Performing Arts Center at El Camino High School.  An orientation meeting will be held on Wed, Feb. 11th, from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Mission Branch Library , 3861 Mission Avenue, in Oceanside.
Rehearsals will begin in March.
All contestants will receive free coaching in personal interviews, poise, walking, presentation skills, question on stage, as well as makeup, hair, and wardrobe tips.
