Oceanside CA— The Oceanside Public Library is proud to host a series of PBS Point of View (POV) Documentaries as part of a series, Citizen of the World. This series will run January through June on the third Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. and will feature notable documentaries with Civic Reflection discussions to follow. These films will be screened at the Oceanside Public Library Civic Center Community Rooms at 330 N Coast Hwy, Oceanside, CA 92054.
At the Oceanside Public Library we celebrate a diverse Oceanside community and work to awaken a sense of cultural belonging. We also strive to promote civic participation and reflection by encouraging dialogue and promoting informed decisions about current issues. PBS POV features independent non-fiction films that highlight social issues. Through working with PBS POV for the Citizen of the World documentary series, Oceanside Public Library is able to expand on those goals.
