The exhibit showcases ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking and creations by some of the most innovative and experimental surfboard shapers in the industry: Ryan Burch, Donald Brink, Carl Ekstrom and Tom Morey.
Curated by Barry Haun, SHACC’s Curator and Creative Director, the exhibit features a quiver of unconventional and unique surf crafts from asymmetrical boards to boards that push the design envelope on both shape and materials used. The exhibit is made possible through the generous support of John Mazza, Founder of the Malibu Surfing Museum at Pepperdine.
The opening night event will take place from 6 – 9pm at SHACC, located 110 Calle Iglesia, San Clemente, CA 92672. The opening night reception will feature food catered by Mahé of Dana Point, with a no-host bar serving Primo Beer and a variety of wines.
Admission is free for SHACC members and $5.00 for non-members.
