More than 35 eateries, including full-serve and fast-food restaurants, sushi and ice cream shops, have agreed to donate a percentage from each purchase on March 5 to the National MS Society for MS research and programs and services for people with MS, an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and body. Some restaurants are donating up to 20 percent of the bill.
Among North County-area participants: Board & Brew in Carlsbad Village, 201 Oak Ave., Carlsbad; Brigantine in Del Mar, 3263 Camino del Mar, Del Mar; Chick-fil-A in Oceanside, 3475 Marron Road, at Quarry Creek, Oceanside.
Other participating restaurants in San Diego County include BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Boudin Bakery, Cold Stone Creamery, El Pollo Loco, On the Border, The Patio, Poway Sushi Lounge, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, and Slater’s 50/50.
