Carlsbad CA— Join Carlsbad Republican Women to hear the hilarious stand-up comedian, Byron Walls, speak on crime awareness.
His talk, “Laughter is the Best Weapon” covers street crimes, home protection, car safety, fighting tactics, and the pros and cons of weapons. As Byron states, “I have found that when people are laughing, they are listening and when they are listening, they are learning. And what they learn in this program could save their life.”
Byron has been speaking on the subject of crime safety since 1980 when he went to work for Citizens Against Crime in Nashville, TN. In 1996, he moved to Los Angeles and started California Crimefight. He’s been a folksinger, a comedian, and an actor and his experience as an entertainer makes for a unique and interesting presentation. His engaging personality enables a high level of entertainment, while educating his audience on very serious issues.
Carlsbad Republican Women Federated general meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Green Dragon Tavern and Museum, 6115 Paseo del Norte, Carlsbad, CA 92011.
