Encinitas CA— Families are invited to pack up the kids and enjoy some outdoor fun at Thursday Family Fun Nights taking place at the San Diego Botanic Garden from 4:30 pm – 8 pm, May 28 through August 27.
Each Thursday, Hamilton Children’s Garden comes alive, complete with live, kid-friendly entertainment from 6 – 7 pm, including San Diego’s own Hullabaloo kicking off the series on May 28. This award-winning duo will also perform on July 16 and August 27. Other artists that will be featured in the Garden under the stars include: Zimbeat, featuring tunes from Zimbabwe and Kenya; Clint Perry; Patty Hall; Kristin Cook; Puppet Potpourri with Mary Roper; the YMCA Dance Team and Buck Howdy.
Garden lovers of all ages are also invited to come during Thursday Family Fun Nights to take advantage of extended evening hours at San Diego Botanic Garden. The entire Garden will be open until 8 pm each Thursday, from May 28 through August 27.

Thursday Family Fun Nights are free with San Diego Botanic Garden paid admission or membership. Thursday Family Fun Night will not be held on Thursday, July 2 due to the Fourth of July holiday.
Thursday Family Fun Nights are funded in part by the City of Encinitas and Mizel Family Foundation Community Grant Program. Thursday Family Fun Nights are also sponsored in part by The Rancho Santa Fe Rotary Club.
General admission to the San Diego Botanic Garden is $14 for adults; $10 for seniors, students and active military; and $8 for children ages 3-12. San Diego Botanic Garden members and children 2 and under are admitted free. Parking is $2 for non-members. The parking fee is waived if there are four or more passengers in a vehicle. Electric Cars also park for free at the Garden.
