Carlsbad CA— The City of Carlsbad is partnering with the Center for Sustainable Energy to host a free workshop for owners of single-family homes who want to learn more about home energy upgrades and incentives. The workshop will be held Wednesday, September 16, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the City of Carlsbad Faraday Center 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad
“Homeowners will walk away from this workshop with steps they can take to lower their utility bills, keep their homes cooler during heat waves and warmer in the winter,” said Mike Grim, senior planner for the City of Carlsbad.
- Experts from the Center for Sustainable Energy will cover:
- How to prioritize energy improvements
- How to choose a contractor
- How to access rebates ranging from $1,000 to $6,500
- Insulation, windows, heating and cooling systems
