Carlsbad CA— The City of Carlsbad will offer Soccer & Splash class this fall at Alga Norte Community Park. This is a parent participation class for 2 to 3 ½ year olds in which participants will begin to develop motor and social skills while being introduced to basic soccer skills. Before or after the 30-minute session, participants are free to enjoy the swimming pools and splash pad area, on their own with parent or guardian, at the Alga Norte Aquatic Center. Classes begin on Sept. 4 and meet on Fridays at 5 or 5:35 p.m. for six weeks. The cost is $162 and Carlsbad residents receive a 10 percent discount.
