Carlsbad CA— Current world record holder for the abdominal plank and Carlsbad resident, George Hood, has announced his next world record attempt-“The 40lb Weighted Plank”. That is a Plank with an additional 40lbs of weight situated on the back of the contender. The record is currently 44 minutes set by Eva Bulzomi last year.
The event will be on September 16th in his hometown of Indiana, Pennsylvania. The event will raise money for Indiana County United Way and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Semper Fi Fund as part of Hood’s ongoing campaign associated with the recent “The People’s Plank” in Oceanside, California.
