Carlsbad CA— Curious about growing and financing your business? Considering social media marketing? Want to help employees reach their goals? Attend free business workshops offered monthly from September through November at the Carlsbad City Library, located 1775 Dove Lane.
Workshops are free and seating is first come, first served. Stay after each workshop for a question-and-answer session and networking. Bring your lunch; light refreshments and beverages will be provided.
Sept. 23 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The series kick off with Business Finances: Traditional to Nontraditional Funding Options. In this workshop led by Joseph Molina, program director and deputy sector navigator for San Diego Small Business Sector Navigator’s Program, participants will learn what banks and investors are looking for when backing a business. The program will also cover lending options such as factoring and lines of credit.
Oct. 28 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The topic will be Social Media Marketing: General Tools and Focus on Trends in the Social Media Realm Today with Cyndi Darlington, president and founder of Darlington Marketing. Learn about the different type of social media available for small businesses and how to select the one that best fits your needs.
Nov. 18 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Attend the Motivation and Leadership Workshop led by Joseph Molina, from the San Diego Small Business Sector Navigator’s Program. Evaluate strategies for effective communication in the workplace and the best ways to promote employee motivation.
