Oceanside CA— MainStreet Oceanside is looking for volunteers to help at Taste of Oceanside on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 2pm – 5pm.
Volunteers are needed to help at check in, help participants serve food, beer or wine for the full three hours. Volunteer orientation will start at 5:30pm at the MainStreet Oceanside office on Wednesday, September 16th.
A volunteer application is available [Here] and will be available at the meeting as well.
If you have not been certified as a food handler or alcohol server, please attend the training at 6:30pm followed by the volunteer orientation.
Last year was a sold-out event success. “Over 750 people came to celebrate favorite and new emerging downtown Oceanside restaurants located within a 10 block area of our city,” commented Rick Wright, Executive Director of MainStreet Oceanside. “Many attendees last year also saw the new Mission Avenue street parking and lighting renovations that has made events like this even better to enjoy.”
If you don’t want to volunteer, there are a limited number of tickets available. Food tasting only tickets are $25, Food and beverage tasting tickets are $35. Tickets will also be available the Sunset Market starting Thursday September 3rd from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
