Carlsbad CA— The City of Carlsbad is hosting two events for teens this November. Epic Teen Nights: Movie in the Park will take place Saturday, Nov. 7, from 4:30 to 9 p.m., at Pine Avenue Community Park. Bring a chair or a blanket for a free viewing of the movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 on the giant inflatable screen. Movie will begin at dusk. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at the event. Movie is rated PG-13. This a free event and no registration is required.
On Wednesday, Nov. 18, the city will host a special VIP advance screening of the new movie The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2, before the film is released to the general public. Tickets are available now for $20 through Nov. 17 while supplies last. The movie will be shown at Regal Carlsbad 12 at the Westfield Carlsbad mall.
Teens can check in at 5 p.m. and movie will begin at 6 p.m. Chaperons will be on hand to supervise and teens will be not allowed to leave the designated theater. After the movie is over, participants can be picked up outside the theater.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Movie is rated PG-13 and middle or high school ID is required. Seating is very limited. Register at www.carlsbadconnect.org under special events.
