Oceanside CA— Children of all ages are invited to explore the mysteries of science as a mad scientist makes movie special F/X before their eyes. The Civic Center Library, 330 North Coast Highway, will host Mad Science Movie Special F/X on Saturday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Community Rooms.
Children will get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of effects directors use in movies and learn about chemical reactions, polymers, and air pressure as they see how special effects are created. The Mad Science Movie Special F/X program is free and open to children of all ages.
