Carlsbad CA— Brother Benno’s Auxiliary will be holding their annual fundraising Luncheon/Raffle/Auction/Fashion Show on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Sheraton Hotel in Carlsbad. The doors open at 11am with Lunch served at 12pm.
There will be a delicious lunch, silent auction items to bid on, tempting opportunity baskets, door prizes and a Fashion Show for entertainment. The models for the Fashion Show will include some of Oceanside’s well-known dignitaries, wearing a collection of fashionable outfits and dazzling accessories. All items shown in the Fashion Show are from the Brother Benno’s Thrift Shop. You will be amazed at what you see!
The proceeds from the Luncheon/Auction /Raffle are the primary way we help fund the Men’s and Women’s Recovery Programs as well as continue the mission of feeding, clothing, assisting, and uplifting the poor in our community.
The Recovery Program has about 50 men and women who live and work at Brother Benno’s in exchange for supporting them through a 26 week transitional 12 step program. The miracle of recovery is repeated as these men and women rebuild their lives and their relationships with their families and children. Your gifts and support of this Luncheon/Raffle/Auction can make this wonder happen over and over again.
Brother Benno’s Foundation was recently awarded a rating of Four Stars by Charity Navigator. This is the highest possible rating among charitable groups in the United States, and Charity Navigator is American’s premier independent charity evaluator.
