Carlsbad CA— Join Happy Hour Politics on Wednesday, February 17^th to meet Tracy Prior, San Diego Deputy District Attorney. Ms. Prior will focus her presentation on San Diego’s focused, coordinated community response to domestic violence. In addition, she will educate HHP on interesting domestic violence programs recently initiated at the national level.
Tracy Prior has been a prosecutor for 20 years, initially working in the Domestic Violence unit at the San Diego City Attorney’s office. She then joined the District Attorney’s office and has spent most of her career specializing in Child Abuse, Domestic Violence, Elder Abuse, and Child Pornography cases. Ms. Prior now heads up the Family Protection Division and leads/mentors 40 lawyers and a staff of over 85 professionals. She is also involved at the national level with domestic violence awareness and prevention.
Ms. Prior is the mother of two sons, ages 6 and 8, and considers them her greatest accomplishment.
The Happy Hour Politics events are held the third Wednesday each month from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at The Crossings, 5800 The Crossings Dr, Carlsbad.
