Oceanside CA— The Rotary Club of San Luis Rey and The Moonlight Angels are hosting a special opening night production of ‘The Elephant Man’ at the Sunshine Brooks Theatre.
Enjoy an exciting evening on April 8, 2016 with a reception at 6:30 and the opening performance at 7:30. The Elephant Man is directed by Francis Gercke, Produced by Jessica John and Christopher Williams.
The Elephant Man is a 1977 play by Bernard Pomerance with the production’s Broadway debut in 1979. The story is based on the life of Joseph Merrick, referred to in the script as John Merrick, who lived in the Victorian era and is known for the extreme deformity of his body.
Proceeds from the evening will go to benefit The Rotary Club of San Luis Rey and The Moonlight Angels Cultural Foundation.
