Oceanside CA— Operation Appreciation takes place May 21^st, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and is dedicated to celebrating and showing gratitude to all active-duty military personnel. It’s a special event also open to the public to join in on the festivities. This Oceanside Chamber of Commerce event, returning for the fifteenth time, continues to sustain sponsorship support from the community, individuals and local businesses which is vitally important for its existence.
With all that this event has and continues to give to the military community, comes the need for business sponsorships and individual donations. With the help from this year’s sponsors, Operation Appreciation can create the best atmosphere of thanks. Three businesses have stepped up to become the events top sponsors: Genentech, Pacific Marine Credit Union, and Chase Bank.
“Through this one-day celebratory event, the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce and the Business Community of Oceanside hopes to show the gratitude and appreciation that we all have for our military members,” says David Nydegger, Oceanside Chamber of Commerce President. “We want the military personnel to feel welcome as well as enjoy a great time with their family and friends. With the sponsors help, we know we can make that happen.”
